First and foremost, we wish you an excellent year 2026 despite a world that is increasingly uncertain, difficult, and dangerous. Sustainable peace must be the goal of everyone.
This issue begins with a presentation of a seminar on the role of the UN in development policies. Next, a meeting at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Ben Guerir, Morocco, will be briefly presented, highlighting the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship.
In the second part, we propose 16 doctoral positions that we ask you to disseminate for people or groups likely to be interested.
A consortium of European universities (the GreenFieldData project) is recruiting 14 PhD students to work on innovative tools for agriculture, focusing on the convergence of data science and the IoRT (Internet of Robotic Things) in order to promote sustainable agriculture and define effective practices.
Two other PhD candidates are searched by Utrecht University (The Netherlands) in geographic question answering, i.e. at the border of geomatics and artificial intelligence.
