The capital of a small French-speaking African country (former Belgian colony) wants to transform into a smart city. To this end, USF is looking for an academic specializing in smart cities, with solid experience in this field. The task will be to set up a program with two types of training, in collaboration with the local university (the courses will be taught in French):

1 – a Master’s level degree covering all aspects of a smart city according to various approaches: technological, organizational, environmental, urban planning, IT, participatory, etc.

2 – a series of conferences on the same topics for the continuous training of administrative staff.

The candidate must be a lecturer or university professor with excellent knowledge of both issues related to smart cities and the African context.
